Overview
Three services, one clear choice
Fiat Brazil was restructuring its financial services: financing, insurance and consortium, a popular way to buy cars in Brazil through pooled savings groups. It urgently needed a page that explained every service and a navigation flow that made the offer and its advantages clear.
It was one of the fastest projects our team ever delivered.
Research
Learning a new field fast
I knew nothing about financial services when the project started, so I began with a deep immersion: desk research, a CSD matrix (certainties, assumptions and doubts), market and competitor analysis, always checking back against the client’s requirements.
We sent an anonymous survey across Brazil on experiences with car consortium, financing and insurance and received 58 responses. It showed why people choose each option, or pay in cash, which companies they use and what worries them, and helped us map the persona.
We also analysed 9 national car brands, benchmarked Brazilian banks and insurers, and reviewed Fiat’s current flows the same way.
Design
From research to wireframes
With that data we designed mid-fidelity wireframes and presented them to the client. After many review sessions, the project moved on to UI and UX writing.
